LOVE magazine’s Advent Calendar – the annual, seasonal online celebration of womanhood presided over by Editor in Chief Katie Grand – is now entering its seventh blockbuster year. Each year the number of viewers it attracts with its specially made Christmas- and New Year-themed videos has increased significantly, and this year it is expected to exceed the audience of 84 million that watched 2016’s LOVE Advent Calendar. ‘It’s festive, it’s fun and it’s everything we love about women enjoying being women, on their own terms,’ comments Katie Grand.
The list of models featured in 2017’s Advent boasts a best-yet selection of contributions from the girls who have helped make LOVE the go-to fashion title pushing the boundaries between art, edge and raw consumer appeal: Slick Woods, Winnie Harlow, Kendall Jenner, Stella Maxwell, Charli XCX, Taylor Hill, Kate Upton, Ashley Graham, Doutzen Kroes, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Jourdan Dunn and Karlie Kloss, among many others. ‘They all seem to really love contributing,’ says Grand. ‘Who doesn’t love Christmas?’ ‘It’s a fun way to celebrate the year with the hottest women in the world,’ says Jasmine Sanders of her contribution.
